Do you sell kittens for breeding?

No, I do not sell any kittens for breeding. All of my kittens are sold as desexed pets to people who simply want the very best Persian kitten they can find to love & spoil. One that is beautiful to look at, wonderfully healthy and totally endearing with an affectionate & loving nature. There is nothing more satisfying for me than to know that my kittens go to homes where their sole purpose in life is to warm someone's lap or bed.

What colours are you currently breeding?

We specialise in producing absolutely adorable Shaded Silver, Silver Tortoisehell & Glacial White coloured kittens. Solid White kittens can have either copper eyes, blue eyes or odd coloured eyes. Odd eyed Whites have one blue eye and the other copper.

We also breed gorgeous Red, Cream, Blue, Black and Cameos. Cameos are rarely seen today. To see what a Cameo coloured cat looks like you can view Delila, Chelsea and Winston (all Cameos) by clicking here To view kittens that we bred previously please click here

In 2009 we will hopefully be producing some stunning Traditional Himalayan Persian kittens in a wide variety of Point colours.

Do your Persians require a lot of grooming?

The Traditional Persian is a long haired breed and does require a daily brush and/or comb, this will take you no more than 5 minutes. If done regularly (daily) you will have no problems with matts and knots. Whilst breeding Traditional Persians with wonderful health, gorgeous temperaments and exquisite beauty we also continually aim for easily managed coat texture.

What do your kittens cost?

Shaded Silvers, Silver Tortoisehell, Himalayan & Solid White kittens are all priced at $1200.

All other colours are priced at $1000.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit of $200 is required to secure the kitten of your choice with the remainder due (less your deposit) 2 weeks prior to the kitten leaving our home. Your deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or decide to purchase elsewhere. If the colour/sex of the kitten that you ordered is not available from the next litter you can, at your discretion, either roll your deposit over to another litter or have it refunded.

How can I pay for my kitten?

Payment is by Money Order from Australia Post. My address details for posting will be given upon confirmation of your decision to purchase.

Can I pay my Kitten off over a period of time?

Yes you can pay for your kitten by way of instalments, I have no problem with this method of payment, providing the kitten and freight costs (if freight is required) are paid for in full 2 weeks prior to the kitten leaving my home.

Back to list of questions.

Do you have a waiting list?

We are happy to place interested parties on our waiting list for future litters, however potential buyers who pay a deposit of $200 are given preferential placing before those who do not, irrespective of when enquiries were received.

Alternatively feel free to keep an eye on our kittens page where news of available kittens & adult cats is updated regularly.

Whereabouts are you located?

I live in a beautiful rural area called Armidale in northern New South Wales with my husband and children. We have a small hobby farm with dogs and cats, a dairy cow named Mary, 2 ducks named Freda & Bertie and a large number of free-range chooks. My husband breeds beautiful Chocolate Labradors with placid, loyal & loving temperaments he has a website at Cranlamila Labradors if you’re interested in having a peek. Armidale is located on the New England Tablelands and is approximately halfway between Brisbane and Sydney on the New England Highway.

Back to list of questions.

Can you transport kittens/cats interstate?

Yes, we have flown kittens all over Australia without any problems. Kittens travel (very comfortably) as freight with Australian Air Express, a subsidiary company of Qantas. Armidale has a small regional airport, our freight people do not work on weekends and prefer not to send animals on Mondays or Fridays due to increased passenger numbers on those 2 days (passenger luggage receives priority over freight).

Your kitten/cat will be transported in a brand new travel crate (which is then yours to keep) with a snugly blanket for extra comfort. The kitten can be collected at the Australian Air Express depot at the destination airport. When collecting your kitten you will be asked to provide identification before the kitten/cat is released. The table below outlines the cost of freight to a number of destinations within Australia. The cost listed includes the price of the travel crate which is yours to keep. Please email me for a quote if your local airport is not listed. I can only fly kittens to airports serviced by Qantas.
